History

Nur was born from the need to create a simple game, but without simplifying the experience, especially in terms of adventure. Set in Amara, a vast continent inhabited by druids, ferocious beasts, and wild plants, Nur offers unique adventures, filled with discoveries and the constant feeling that there is always something left to explore.

The relationship between races and beasts in this world is quite peculiar. Little is known about them: where they come from, why they are here, and what their intentions are. Some are docile, while others are powerful and destructive. There is a debate about whether the beasts should be exterminated, subdued, or left free. However, the lack of research means no definitive actions have been taken, especially with a long-forgotten winter approaching, threatening to change everything.

Amara

In the vast continent of Amara, there are three main beings that have lived and coexisted for centuries: the druids, the plants, and the beasts. All of them are deeply connected by a mystical force known as Nur, a power still mysterious and difficult to understand, even for the wisest among them. However, despite the secrets Nur holds, each of these beings has learned to harness its energy to grow, mutate, or overcome the challenges they face. This connection has allowed them to become stronger over the years.

Druids

Beings who love nature, give their lives for it and for their species, but without forgetting the most precious thing: the world that gave them life, their most venerated god.

Beasts

These creatures mostly live away from the druids. They exist in various habitats: aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic. Some can cast spells using their mana, while others attack with claws or teeth.

Plants

The plants in Amara are not simple organisms; they are imbued with the same mystical energy that flows through the druids and beasts. These plants can have healing, magical, or even dangerous properties, and their relationship with the beings inhabiting the continent is essential to the balance of the ecosystem.

Druids

Beings who share a wild world, with vegetation just as untamable as they are. Beasts that, although they can be an obstacle, can also become potential allies. Magically, the druids coexist on the continent they call Amara, sheltered within it, understanding more about the world they live in, but with the desire to explore what lies beyond. Together with the beasts that inhabit Amara, the druids have forged a connection that allows them to tame some of them to assist in their missions and their understanding of the world. This connection is magical and spiritual, a bond formed by mana, or as some call it, the natural essence of this world.

Warriors

Druids focused on combat and defense against threats, dedicated to patrolling and protecting other druids in dangerous areas.

Explorers

Druids specialized in exploration, eliminating their presence before threats. They help others hide under their cloak to remain unnoticed or, if necessary, strike the enemy by surprise.

Researchers

Druids dedicated to the study of communication, behavior, biological structure, and spirituality of the beasts, achieving superior control over them. They specialize in researching the creatures inhabiting the world they seek to save.

Witches

Druids focused on the knowledge of plants and mana to heal and protect other druids during missions. They are the hope of the group thanks to their healing abilities for both druids and beasts.

Beasts

These creatures mostly live away from the druids. They exist in various habitats: aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic. Some can cast spells using their mana, while others attack with claws or teeth. Some can be tamed by the druids, while others are extremely wild and do not allow themselves to be tamed, although they do not attack either. The beasts provide druids with essential materials for their weapons and homes.

Each of these creatures has unique characteristics, but most are carnivorous and can even become cannibalistic. Although they are deeply connected to their wild instinct, all have weaknesses, whether due to their environment, climate, or some congenital defect of their species.

A beast connected with a druid is constantly infused with the druid's mana, causing the creature to transform, becoming more powerful, useful, and deeply bound to its master. This connection is primarily defined by three aspects: trust, loyalty, and courage, which influence the relationship between the two beings.

Trust

The beast feels calm and safe next to its master, knowing that it will not be attacked and that it will be cared for.

Loyalty

The beast remains bonded to the druid, regardless of the circumstances. It is willing to follow him to the end, even sacrificing its life for him.

Courage

This aspect manifests in battle, showing the level of the beast’s affinity for fighting. Some beasts fully commit to combat, while others may choose to flee if they deem it necessary.
